Primarily written for Rock and other modern genres. This is a good, fact-filled book if you are a musician in those genres; I play old time banjo, so much of the book wasn't relevant. That being said, I did find one of his suggestions intriguing : putting ads for your recording on Craigslist in all 50 states. I will try that and see if I get any sales for my Banjo Voices cd.

Nice, direct and very practical. I think this one nails it to the core... a lot of good lesson learned turned into a usable manual.
Makes you understand that first of all believing in your music is the first and most critical step toward making it visible (or audible) and gives you tools and strategies to be successful.
I definitely recommend the reading !
